FOOD RESOURCES FOR ADAMS’ FAMILIES

🛒 NEW! Adams Community Food Pantry
We are putting together a food pantry for our Adams families. Please help us stock the shelves by bringing any non-perishable food donations to the Adams Office during school hours or email ACG to pickup at your convenience.

You can also support the Adams Community Food Pantry by making donations - 100% goes to the pantry. These donations of food and targeted funds will be accepted on an ongoing basis to support this new program. We hope to have the pantry open for families to 'shop' next week.

🎒 NEW! Backpack Brigade
Every Friday, food/snacks will be going home in backpacks with kiddos identified by the school as needing food support on weekends. If your kiddo(s) could benefit from this resource please contact Tara or Ayhana.

📣 We'd love your help getting these new ACG programs off the ground - please email us if you are interested.

Ways To Help

In addition to making donations to the Adams Food Pantry, there are many other ways you can help with food security in our community, whether or not SNAP benefits are in jeopardy. Here is a short list to get you started:

🌯Support Waste to Taste / Burrito Brigade. These amazing folks deliver food directly to people and run a free grocery store that doesn’t require income qualification. They help so many people including those caught in the “benefits cliff” — those earning too much to qualify for aid, but not enough to get by.

🥫Fill your local Little Free Pantry. Many people rely on multiple resources — food banks, mutual aid, and pantries — so anything you can give truly helps.

🍎 Donate to Food for Lane County (or your local food bank). Food banks can stretch a dollar further than we can thanks to their partnerships and bulk buying power.

⭐Volunteer your time. If money’s tight, time is just as valuable!
